Please read the following terms and conditions which apply to all transactions made with www.pennylane-promotions.com and print this article if you so wish. The viewing of this website and/or placing of any order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions but does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Visual Design Proof
Upon receipt of your Design Instructions we expect to provide you with a visual design proof via. e.mail within five working days.
Pricing
All prices are shown in £GBP and exclude delivery costs.
Goods Availability
All our products are subject to availability and we may need to withdraw them at any time should we experience problems with stock availability from our suppliers. Please be assured however, that should this be the case then it is our policy to contact you accordingly and arrange either for the order to be cancelled and fully refunded or offer you a suitable alternative product of similar and acceptable specification. We cannot be held liable for any losses or damages which arise from us being unable to supply the goods due to circumstances outside of our control.
Delivery and Inspection upon Receipt
All goods received by yourselves must be inspected within one working day of delivery and any quality issues or shortages reported to ourselves within 24 hours, otherwise we will assume that the goods are to your approval and of merchantable quality. In the unlikely event that any goods are damaged in transit then it is imperative that you, as the customer, do not dispose of any of the packaging material due to this being required to follow through our claim against the carrier. Pennylane Promotions will handle this claim with the carriers and arrange to collect any damaged goods and send replacements.
You will be notified of your expected delivery date via e.mail, please notify us within five days should you not receive your consignment on the expected delivery date and we will take up the matter with the respective courier or Royal Mail. We cannot be held responsible for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer, any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date due to circumstances outside of our control.
It is the customers responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages and check that this tallies with the consignment note or recorded delivery details. We will not be held responsible for any of the goods once they have been distributed by yourselves and no compensation can be given once you have distributed the goods. We cannot accept any claims for shortages, non-delivery or damage should the above time scales not be adhered to.
It is our policy to make every reasonable effort to adhere to the expected delivery date, but we have no control over Royal Mail or our courier's delivery timescales and can therefore accept no responsibility in the event of their failure to adhere to the delivery date and will instead take this matter up with the despatcher. Delivery will be made to one address and you should make any arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods.
We reserve the right to use the most appropriate despatch method and any increase in order quantity will be treated as a separate order contract.
Returns & Exchanges
Our primary goal is your complete satisfaction with any of our products and we stand behind the quality of each product we offer, but due to the fact that we cannot resell any pre-printed and personalised items then these can only be returned should they be damaged during transit (see above) or differ considerably from the approved visual proof. (see Products and Description of Goods below).
This does not affect your consumers statutory rights however and all products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the original manufacturers guarantee. All returns must be sent with their original packaging and you will be responsible for any return postage costs, we may then arrange for an acceptable postage refund once we have investigated the claim with our carriers.
We recommend that you use a "signed for" delivery service to return any items as we cannot be held responsible for any returned items should they be lost in transit.
All refunds will be issued via the same payment method as on the original order and will usually reach your account within four working days after it has been processed, please however allow ten working days for it to be credited to your account due to the banking system. We do however reserve the right to refund you within thirty days of the return.
Artwork
Should you need to send your artwork & design instructions by post then this can be returned by prior agreement with ourselves.
Website Updates and Conditions of Use
We may, from time to time, need to update the website content and for this reason we reserve the right to update product details and pricing in line with our suppliers costs, however please be assured that should the price at time of your order differ from the updated price then we will notify you accordingly on receipt of your order and offer you the option of proceeding with your order or cancelling with a full refund.
You agree to use our service in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with our terms and conditions outlined here and you also agree that you will not attempt to undermine the integrity of this website, and in using this website you indicate your agrement to be bound by the terms and conditions. Please note you will be refered to as the customer in this agreement.
We cannot be held responsible or liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website, its information, content, products or materials included on this site. We make no endorsements, representations or warranties of any kind with regard to its content and will not be liable for any damage, loss, costs or expenses suffered by the customer as a result of any downtime from our website for any reason whatsoever.
We reserve the right to update our Terms and Conditions displayed on this website from time to time at our discretion.

Force Majeure
We can assure you that we will do everything possible to meet delivery deadlines but cannot be held responsible for any delays or non-performance of any obligations due to any circumstances whatsoever outside of our control, for instance postage strikes, extreme weather conditions affecting deliveries or failures on behalf of the couriers. Please be assured however that every effort will be made to deliver on time and we aim to base our business upon customer satisfaction - should we be aware in advance of expected delivery problems or supplier problems then we will liaise with yourselves in order to do our very best to retain you as a satisfied customer. We cannot be held responsible for any failure or delay in carrying out our obligations under the contract which arise out of any cause outside of our reasonable control or by the inabiliity to procure materials except at higher prices due to any such cause and in these circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or part without incurring any liability.
Quality
Each item is tailored and personalised to your requirements by Pennylane Promotions, we do not sub-contract to any other company and we are not agents for any other firm. We carry out all design work and produce all printing ourselves and for this reason have put great emphasis on our finished products to ensure you are completely satisfied with the quality. We have noticed a very slight surface marking on some of the acrylic and glass products from our suppliers, we have been informed that this is normal and due to the casting process. However, upon receipt of our raw materials we do, carefully, inspect the products and should we consider them to be sub standard or unacceptable in any way, shape or form then we will not use these to assemble your order. Suffice to say though that these minimal and very slight surface markings are un-noticeable once the item has been assembled and we will inspect each individual item to ensure that the focus is on the content of the item rather than the surface. Please be assured that if we are not happy with the finished quality of any item then it will not be despatched to you as we aim to build our business on customer satisfaction. We do however reserve the right to decline returns for any light marking, but should you be in any doubt upon inspection of delivered products then please contact us and arrange to return the item for verification and investigation to resolve the issue in a mutually acceptable manner. All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the original manufacturers guarantee and once again this does not affect your statutory rights.
Products & Description of Goods
Every effort has been made to ensure our product descriptions and specifications are as accurate as possible but please note that colours of the products can vary according to the web pantone and reproduction system and no liability can be accepted for variations. Please bear in mind that some colours can vary when viewed on different screen resolutions, settings or monitor types. Should you be unduly concerned regarding the final printing colour then we can, upon request, post you a hard copy showing the individual colours used in your final design. The descriptive text, images and specifications used on this website have been compiled to give you the most concise information that we are able to provide about the products. It remains your responsibility to establish product suitability for its intended purpose.
We reserve the right to make any adjustments to details, price or product design as illustrated on our website at any time and without notice.
Prices are correct at time of publishing but we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order should an incorrect price be displayed due to website maintenance, typographical error or updates. Please be assured that in the case of cancelled or refused orders, we would fully refund any payment made by yourselves and contact you to resolve the matter in a mutually acceptable manner.

Cancellation of Orders
The Distance Selling Regulations state that any personalised items are outside of this particular legislation therefore a charge will be made on all cancelled orders to cover any design work, production costs or any other costs involved in the procurement of raw materials necessary to fulfill the order up to the date of receipt of the written cancellation and any refund will be issued to the same card used to purchase the order.
Complaints
In the unlikely event that you need to raise an issue with us then we will adhere to a fair, confidential and effective complaints system whereby we will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and provide you with a mutually acceptable solution as soon as possible as well as keeping you fully informed of the progress and how we intend to resolve the issue. In the event of any legal dispute then the U.K. courts will have full jurisdication on the matter.
PRIVACY POLICY
We do not hold any of your financial details or card details at any time either on this site or in paperform, for your protection these details are held by state of the art security measures with our third party secured payment gateways working in accordance with e-commerce regulations.
The Secure Trading Gateway is certificated under the highest level of compliance (Level 1 compliant provider) under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and card details are processed through a 2048 bit encrypted secure server using SSL.
Pennylane Promotions do not disclose customer information or details submitted to this website to any third parties other than address details to our parcel couriers or Royal Mail for delivery purposes only.
Data collected by this site is used exclusively to take and process customer orders and we adhere to The Data Protection Act 1998 which requires us to be open about holding and using personal data and as such it entitles yourselves to enquire what personal data we hold about you.
